A significant contributor to the development of improved methods in estimating irrigation water requirements, Marvin E. Jensen has had a diverse career in civil engineering. This collection documents two projects Jensen worked on to evaluate water distribution and usage along the lower Colorado River. The collection includes data, correspondence, handwritten notes, news clippings, photographs, drafts, and reports dealing with each project, one evaluating the Lower Colorado River Accounting System and the other evaluating Colorado River water usage within the Imperial Irrigation District.
